CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of Judy 25, 2022 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 10 of 20 <br />N. Employee Health Insurance Renewal for Fiscal Year 2022-2023 <br />Introduction: Approval of renewal of City employees' health insurance coverage with United Healthcare <br />for Fiscal Year 2022-2023 is requested. <br />Budget Impact: Funds for the City's share of employee health insurance premiums will be provided in <br />the adopted budget for FY 2023 in the applicable Health Insurance expenditure account for each <br />department. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Administrative Services Director recommended approval <br />of the renewal of City employees' health insurance coverage with United Healthcare for Fiscal Year 2022- <br />2023. <br />O. Excuse Absence of Commissioner Andrew Meadows <br />Introduction: Commissioner Andrew Meadows has advised that he will be out of town and unable to <br />attend the July 25, 2022 Regular City Commission meeting. He has respectfully requested that his Excuse <br />of Absence be placed on the Consent Agenda for consideration. <br />Audience Participation: No one came forward to address the Consent Agenda. <br />MOTION: Vice Mayor Aramendia moved to approve the Consent Agenda, as presented. <br />Motion was seconded by Commissioner Busch. Motion carried unanimously by <br />voice vote 4-0. <br />8. DISCUSSION ITEMS <br />A. Future Agenda Items <br />Mayor Henson suggested discussion on the feasibility of creating a community garden as a future agenda <br />item. A brief discussion amongst the Commissioners ensued, after which it was agreed that those attending <br />the Florida League of Cities conference would inquire of other attendees whether any of their cities had <br />municipal gardens and if so, how they were managed. It was also agreed that the City Manager and staff <br />would reach out to the City of Sanford to research how that city is managing and funding its community <br />garden. The results of those inquiries would be brought back for further discussion by the City Commission <br />at a future meeting. <br />No other items were presented for consideration. <br />9. RESOLUTIONS <br />No items were presented for consideration on this agenda. <br />
