RESOLUTION 17-2977 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY AND THE SEMINOLE COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE CONCERNING THE INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE OF 800 MHZ, P25 RADIO COMMUNICATIONS EQUIPMENT AND ACCESSORIES; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry has been participating in an agreement with the Seminole County Sheriff's Office concerning radio communication equipment since October 18, 1995; and WHEREAS, the Seminole County Sheriff's Office presently has the capability of servicing and maintaining 800 MHz, P25 radio communications equipment; and WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry has determined that it is advantageous to enter into a contractual agreement with the Seminole County Sheriff's Office concerning the installation and maintenance of 800 MHz, P25 radio communications equipment. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby approves the agreement with the Seminole County Sheriff's Office concerning the installation and maintenance of 800 MHz, P25 radio communications equipment, as set forth and attached hereto as Exhibit A, and authorizes the Mayor to execute said agreement on behalf of the City. SECTION II. Conflicts. All Resolutions of parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. SECTION III. Severability. If any section of portion of this Resolution proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force, effects of any other Section or part of this Resolution. SECTION IV. Effective Date. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage and adoption.
