CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of April 11, 2022 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 2 of 10 <br />3. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />Mayor Henson led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />4. ROLL CALL <br />The City Clerk called the roll of Elected Officials. All were present except for Commissioner Albritton, <br />Commissioner Albritton's Excuse of Absence was considered and approved as part of the Consent Agenda <br />later in the meeting. <br />5. MINUTES <br />A. Minutes of March 28, 2022 — Regular Meeting <br />MOTION: Vice Mayor Aramendia moved to approve the minutes of the March 28, 2022 <br />Regular Meeting, as presented. Motion was seconded by Commissioner Busch. <br />Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 4-0. <br />6. PRESENTATIONS/COMMENDATIONS <br />A. Proclamation: Education and Sharing Day <br />Mayor Henson proclaimed Tuesday, April 12, 2022 to be Education and Sharing Day in the City of <br />Casselberry and presented the proclamation to Rabbi Tzviky Dubov of Chabad of Greater Orlando. Rabbi <br />Tzviky spoke briefly about Education and Sharing Day and gifted each of the City Commissioners with a <br />Giving Box in the shape of an ARK to serve as a reminder to practice giving each and every day until Acts <br />of Random Kindness become Acts of Routine Kindness. <br />B. Proclamation: Recognizing the Retirement of James W. Goodman <br />Mayor Henson read in its entirety a proclamation in recognition of James W. Goodman's retirement from <br />the City of Casselberry with more than 29 years of dedicated public service, retiring as a Sergeant in the <br />Police Department. <br />C. Legislative Update by State Representative David Smith <br />State Representative David Smith, District 28, provided an update on the results of the 2022 Legislative <br />Session. <br />
