RESOLUTION 22-3304 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, PROVIDING FOR AN ' ADDENDUM TO THE <br />CITY INVESTMENT POLICY; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, <br />SEVERABILITY. AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Florida Statutes 218.415, Local Government Investment Policies, <br />requires governments to have an investment policy in place; and <br />WHEREAS, the City's Investment Policy was updated on February 27, 2012 via <br />Resolution 12-2349 and revised on January 9, 2017 via Resolution 17-2940 and the City desires to <br />include an addendum and update the investment policy to provide for a separate "Project Funding <br />Account" portfolio in order to maximize the total yield while ensuring safety within the <br />investments. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby accepts and <br />approves the addendum to the Investment Policy dated April 1.1; 2022 attached as Exhibit A. <br />SECTION II. Conflicts. All Resolution or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of <br />the provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. <br />SECTION III. Severability. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution <br />proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the <br />validity, force, or effect of any other Section or part of this Resolution. <br />SECTION IV. Effective Date. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br />its passage and adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED this 11th day of April, A.D., 2022. <br />ATTEST: <br />Donna G.
