CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of March 14, 2022 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 6 of 12 <br />104-0000-389.99-00 Other Non -Operating Source $2,000 <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Police Chief recommended approval of Budget Amendment <br />#22-024, donating $2,000 from the State Law Enforcement Trust Funds to the Seminole County Boy Scout <br />Golden Eagle Event. <br />H. Budget Amendment #22-027 — Relating to Whole Lake Alum Treatments for Lake <br />Concord <br />Introduction: Consideration of approval of Budget Amendment #22-027 to provide $17,000 in increased <br />Stormwater Utility Fund Operating Supplies funding for whole lake alum treatments for Lake Concord is <br />requested. <br />Budget Impact: Budget Amendment #22-027 will increase Stormwater Utility Fund Other Non -Operating <br />Source account #110-0000-389.90-00 and the Stormwater Fund Operating Supplies account #110-0740- <br />538.52-00 each by $17,000. <br />BA #22-027 <br />Explanation of Request: This item seeks City Commission approval to provide additional funding for <br />alum treatments for Lake Concord in the amount of $17,000. <br />Account Number Account Description Amount <br />Increase: <br />110-0740-538.52-00 Operating Supplies $17,000 <br />110-0000-389.90-00 Other Non -Operating Sources $17,000 <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works Director recommended approval of Budget <br />Amendment #22-027. <br />Audience Participation: No one came forward to address the Consent Agenda. <br />MOTION: Vice Mayor Aramendia moved to approve the Consent Agenda, as presented. <br />Motion was seconded by Commissioner Busch. Motion carried unanimously by <br />voice vote 5-0. <br />8. DISCUSSION ITEMS <br />A. Future Agenda Items <br />Mayor Henson suggested there may be a need for discussion on what ordinances the City may or may not <br />have in place relating to both window signage and panhandlers. City Manager Randy Newlon advised the <br />City currently had ordinances in place to address both of those issues and further in-depth discussions <br />
