autneas <br />Mr. Christopher Bowley, AICP <br />Casselberry Police Station Additional Topography and Utility Designation <br />July 30, 2021 <br />TASK II- SCOPE OF WORK: Subsurface Utility Designation <br />1. Horizontally locate and field mark (paint & flags) all public subsurface utility mains found excluding service lines, <br />gravity sewer lines and irrigation as outlined in "purple" on the attached exhibit. <br />UTILITY DELIVERABLE <br />The final product will be a field drafted plan sheet or utility designation field sketch(s) of the project area reflecting all <br />pertinent data for your use. <br />PROJECT TIMELINE <br />We anticipate completion of the above-described work within four (4) weeks after receipt of approved permit(s) and <br />written notice to proceed. <br />Utility Terms and Conditions <br />City of Casselberry agrees to abide by the Sunshine 811, Florida State Statutes Chapter 556.106 and all applicable laws, <br />and regulations that pertain to the services provided. <br />City of Casselberry MUST provide Southeastern Surveying and Mapping Corporation (SSMC) all plans and records for this <br />site prior to the commencement of field efforts AND review plans with SSMC technician. SSMC will rely on the accuracy <br />of such plans and records and will notify City of Casselberry if there are any patently or reasonably identifiable defects in <br />the documents prior to performing services. City of Casselberry representative will be responsible for reviewing plans <br />with SSMC technician and indicate what utility structure are expected to be encountered and where. <br />SSMC shall review the site conditions with the use of a Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) in the presence of City of <br />Casselberry Authorized Representative based upon the plans and records provided. <br />City of Casselberry is aware that due to the inherent uncertain nature of subsurface utilities, including but not limited to <br />deficient or misrepresentation of prints, SSMC cannot guarantee that all subsurface utility lines will be accounted for. <br />SSMC will ensure that all reasonable efforts are made to identify the location of said underground utilities and provide <br />the best available information within the project area with the use of Ground Penetrating Radar and Electronic Line <br />Locating Equipment, as needed. Additional research will only be conducted by SSMC if requested in writing by City of <br />Casselberry. <br />In accordance with the Underground Facility Damage Prevention and Safety Act, the Design Engineer shall perform <br />sufficient Utility Coordination with the Utility providers in this location to affirm the information from SSMC's efforts and <br />confirm that no other subsurface utility is possibly undetected by these efforts. <br />SSMC will certify that the surface designation is within two (2) feet of the true underground position of the utility <br />relative to the mark as shown on the surface in accordance with the plans provided and the reasonable efforts <br />conducted to locate the utilities as outlined above. <br />SSMC shall not be held liable for any latent or unreasonably discoverable utilities in the project area.
