Member who attains age seventy and one-half (70'/2) on or after January 1, 2020, the <br />Member's required beginning date is April 1 of the calendar year following the later <br />of (i) the calendar year in which the Member attains age seventy-two (72) or (ii) the <br />calendar year in which the Member terminates employment with the City or County. <br />(b) (2) a. If the Member's surviving spouse is the Member's sole designated <br />beneficiary, then distributions to the surviving spouse will begin by <br />December 31 of the calendar year immediately following the calendar year <br />in which the Member died, or by a date on or before December 31 of the <br />calendar year in which the Member would have attained age 70%2, ora e 72 <br />for a member who would have attained age 70%2 after December 31, 2019) if <br />later, as the surviving spouse elects. <br />SECTION IV: Codification: It is the intention of the City Commission of the City of <br />Casselberry, Florida, and it is hereby ordained that the provisions of this Ordinance shall become <br />and be made a part of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Casselberry, Florida; that the Sections of <br />this Ordinance may be renumbered or re -lettered to accomplish such intention, that the word <br />"Ordinance," may be changed to "Section," "Article," or other appropriate word. <br />SECTION V: Conflict: <br />All Ordiiances or parts of vrdinances In conflict, vJith any <br />provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed. <br />SECTION VI: Severability: If any section or portion of a Section of this Ordinance proves <br />to be invalid, unlawful or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, <br />force, or effect of any other Section or part of this Ordinance. <br />SECTION VII: Effective Date: This Ordinance shall become effective ten (10) days after <br />its passage and adoption. <br />FIRST READING, this Q�'," day of c5f�' , A.D. 2021. <br />SECOND READING and ADOPTION, this ,^,-, day of (X-C be,(— , A.D. 2021. <br />ATTEST: <br />oe� <br />onna G.
