RESOLUTION 21-3243 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, APPROVING A PURCHASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY AND LILIAN CARROLL AS PERSONAL REPRESENTATIVE OF THE ESTATE OF JOHN N. CASSELBERRY FOR PURCHASE OF RESIDENTIAL REAL PROPERTY AT 700 SOUTH LOST LAKE LANE IN CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Casselberry approves the purchase of residential real property located at 700 South Lost Lake Lane in Casselberry, Florida which is described, and the legal description made part of the attached Purchase Agreement for the amount of $1,250,000 plus closing costs. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA: SECTION 1. The City Commission hereby finds extraordinary public purpose for the purchase of the residential real property at 700 South Lost Lake Lane in Casselberry, Florida. SECTION 2. The Purchase Agreement (Attachment A) is hereby approved for $1,250,000 plus closing costs and the City Commission authorizes the Mayor to execute the document(s) on behalf of the City Commission. SECTION 3. At the time of closing on the purchase of the residential real property at 700 South Lost Lake Lane in Casselberry, Florida it is hereby approved, and the City Commission authorizes the Mayor to execute all documents necessary to consummate the closing including a promissory note payable to the seller in the principal amount of $700,000 as described in the Purchase Agreement (Attachment A) on behalf of the City Commission. SECTION 4. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the provisions of the Resolution are hereby repealed. SECTION 5. Severability. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force, or effect of any other Section or part of this Resolution. SECTION 6. Effective Date. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption.
