The AGENCY will ensure any officer working in a Seminole County Public <br />School, even on a temporary basis, in the capacity ol' a Sale School Officer as defined by <br />Section 1006.12, l'lorida Statutes, has completed a criminal background clheck, drug <br />testing, and psychological evaluation and is a certified law enforcement oLlicer, as defined <br />in Section. 943.10(1), Florida Statutes, who is employed by the AGENCY, a law <br />enforcement: agency as defined in Section. 943. .10(4), Florida Statutes. <br />In. Assure that the SIM uses any information made accessible to hire or her by the <br />SCHOOL BOARD or the School Safety Director pursuant to this /Agreement, only for the <br />purposes for which the disclosure was made or a.s otherwise authorized pursuant. to Scct1011 <br />1006.07(7) Florida Statutes. AGENCY acknowledges and agrees that the assigned SROs <br />are not "schoo.l officials" pursuant to Section 1002.221, Florida Statutes, 20 U.S.C. Section <br />12328, and the federal regulations issued pursuant thereto. A disclosure oC unaUthorized <br />information. by the assi.gn.ed SRO to any person or party of unauthorized confuicntial <br />information niadc confidential pursuant. to the Fa.rn.il.y F.Aucational. Rights and Privacy Act <br />and Section 1002.22 Florida Statutes, may result. in. the immediate tcrrnination of 1.11c <br />assigned SR.O and may also .result. in termination of this Agreement. <br />I'll Assure any SRO working in the schools in the capacity of' a SRO is familiar with. <br />the contents of this Agreement and dic SCHOOL, BOARD'S Student. Conduct and <br />Discipline Code. <br />o. Maintain a record ol'daily law enforcement personnel coverage, by school., for cash <br />school that is within. the AGNENCY's scope of' responsibility, The AGh NCV, on a <br />quarterly basis, shall submit documentation electronically by use of' an X -CAD sc.ireh <br />report to the Sclioo.l Safety Director to support the SCHOOL, BOARD'S State of Florida <br />audit requirements. Any report that does not depict. 100° o coverage for any given school <br />day niay be supplemented by supporting doe umerriation on the AGENCY'S letterhead to <br />est.a.blisl-r 100% coverage. Th.e AGWENCY will adjust the invoice to address any lack. of' <br />coverage. <br />P. Assist the School's School Safety 1)irector and the SCHOOL, BOARD to address <br />any act.i.on. which poses a threat to school safety, whether it involves a student., staft'mcmber <br />or third party. <br />C], Notify the Scliool Safety Director of the Collowing: lockdown, use of force thal <br />exceeds a routine takedown or redirection, felony arrest on campus, massive school <br />disruption, medical emergency or any event, that could cause public concern or attention. <br />5 <br />
