Piggyback Agreement with Calgon Carbon Corporation for Granulated Activated <br />Carbon Supply Reactivation Services <br />Introduction: Approval of an agreement with Calgon Carbon Corporation by piggybacking Seminole <br />County Agreement IFB-604066-21/CAR provides for granular activated carbon supply reactivation <br />services on an as -needed basis for an amount not to exceed $500,000 for the period beginning September <br />13, 2021 through June 7, 2026 is requested. <br />Budget Impact: Funding is available in the FY 2021 Water and Sewer Utility Fund Water Production <br />Operating Supplies account #401-0754-533-52.00. Appropriations beyond FY 2021 are subject to future <br />City Commission approval. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works Director recommended approval to piggyback <br />Seminole County Agreement IFB-604066-21/CAR for granular activated carbon supply reactivation <br />services on an as -needed basis, for an amount not to exceed $500,000 for the period beginning September <br />13, 2021 through June 7, 2026, and to simultaneously authorize the City Manager to approve renewals that <br />do not exceed the original contract compensation amount. <br />C. Piggyback Agreement with Odyssey Manufacturing Company for the Purchase of <br />Liquid Sodium Hypochlorite <br />Introduction: Approval of an agreement with Odyssey Manufacturing Company by piggybacking Bay <br />County Agreement 20-55 for the purchase of liquid sodium hypochlorite on an as -needed basis for annual <br />amount not to exceed $200,000 for the period beginning October 1, 2021 through September 30, 2022 (Ref - <br />PBA -2021-0808) is requested. <br />Budget Impact: Funding has been budgeted in FY 2022 in the Water and Sewer Utility Fund Water <br />Production Operating Supplies account #401-0754-533.52-00 and Water Reclamation Operating Supplies <br />account #401-0753-535.52-00. Appropriations beyond FY 2022 are subject to future City Commission <br />approval. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works Director recommended approval to piggyback <br />Bay County Agreement 20-55 with Odyssey Manufacturing Company for liquid sodium hypochlorite on <br />an as -needed basis for an annual amount not to exceed $200,000 for the period beginning October 1, 2021 <br />through September 30, 2022, and to simultaneously authorize the City Manager to approve renewals that <br />do not exceed the original contract compensation amount. <br />D.
