Ms. Moore, Recreation Manager, introduced the Agenda item and provided additional <br />information about the Board's role in the Annual Report review. She then presented the <br />information in the annual report. Discussion followed. <br />6. Staff Report <br />• Parks Update <br />Ms. Moore reviewed the updates in the parks which included a new metal roof on Pavilion 2 at <br />Secret Lake Park. <br />• Events Update <br />Events discussed by Ms. Moore were Art and Music in the Park and The Food Truck Bazaar on <br />January 13th, the glass exhibit in the Art House, Art and Music in the Park and The Food Truck <br />Bazaar on February 14th, and the Mardi Gras Music Festival on February 22nd. <br />Ms. Moore provided additional information regarding the glass art exhibit and the upcoming <br />exhibit featuring Seminole County AP Art Underclassmen student's artwork. She also provided a <br />progress update on the "Sculpture House". <br />7. Board Member Reports: <br />Board Member Kinsev Lallathin commented that the report and the vear overall were izreat and <br />that she was so proud of all the hard work from staff and volunteers. She added that she would <br />be the Chair of the Battle of Two Cities tournament in 2020 and would provide an update on <br />the beneficiary later. Board Member Lallathin also discussed future opportunities with the <br />Sculpture House. She later suggested an infographic using data from the report to be used on <br />social media. Additional discussion followed. <br />Board Member Dana Callan reiterated the 2019 review made him proud and he looked forward <br />to the new year. <br />Board Member Katy Farmer said the review looked fabulous and the growth she's witnessed in <br />the parks was amazing. She also thanked the City for supporting the arts. <br />Board Member Courtney Icenhower thanked the staff for their hard work and the presentation, <br />adding it was a great example of positivity and progress in the City. <br />Chairman Melissa Holmes asked about the City events being on Facebook and stated that in her <br />experience, when searching for City events on Facebook, they seemed to not get posted until <br />right before the event. She suggested events be posted a month at a time, adding that people <br />
