SECTION 2. That this Governmental Unit hereby expresses its support of a unified plan for <br />the allocation and use of opioid settlement proceeds as generally described in the Florida Plan, <br />attached hereto as Exhibit "A." <br />SECTION 3. That the Mayor is hereby expressly authorized to execute the Florida Plan in <br />substantially the form contained in Exhibit "A." <br />SECTION 4. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the any formal agreements <br />implementing a unified plan for the allocation and use of opioid settlement proceeds that is not <br />substantially inconsistent with the Florida Plan and this Resolution. <br />SECTION 5. That City Cleric of this Governmental Unit is hereby directed to furnish a <br />certified copy of this Resolution to: <br />Florida League of Cities <br />P.O. Box 1757 <br />Tallahassee, FL 32302 <br />Attorney General Ashley Moody <br />c/o John M. Guard <br />The Capitol, PL -01 <br />Tallahassee, FL 32399-1050 <br />SECTION 6. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the <br />provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. <br />SECTION 7. Severability. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution proves <br />to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, <br />force, or effect of any other Section or part of this Resolution. <br />SECTION 8.
