RESOLUTION NO. 641 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, <br />ESTABLISHING SOLID WASTE COLLECTION RATES AND AUTHORIZING <br />COLLECTION OF AN ADMINISTRATIVE FEE; AUTHORIZING METHOD <br />OF BILLING; LIMITATION OF SERVICE; DEFINITIONS; <br />AMPLIFICATION; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, the City Commission authorized the granting of a Franchise <br />Contract for the collection of solid waste; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Commission has legislated by Ordinance 695 the <br />collection of solid waste and a recycling program within the City; and <br />WHEREAS, it is necessary to impose rates, fees, and charges for the <br />solid waste collection and recycling program within the City. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION <br />OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION I. Rates: The City of Casselberry, Florida, is authorized to <br />impose and collect monthly rates for residential collection service within <br />the City in accordance with Exhibit 1 of the Solid Waste Collection Franchise <br />Contract with D.isposAll, Inc., plus a four percent (4%) administrative fee to <br />defray the administrative expenses of the City. <br />SECTION II. Method of Billing: The City of Casselberry shall bill in <br />advance for the solid waste collection service and recycling program to be <br />administered hereunder; that the City shall bill at such times as shall best <br />serve the financial advantage of the City but not sooner than monthly. <br />SECTION III. Limitation of Service: The solid waste collection service <br />and recycling program to be administered hereunder shall relate to <br />residential solid waste and recyclable materials only. <br />
