Introduction: Resolution 14-2594 revises and amends the annual operating budget of the City of Casselberry as approved in Resolution 13-2533 for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2013. Budget Impact: The Second Quarter Budget Amendment spreadsheet details changes to the budget as a result of Budget Amendments adopted by the City Commission at various meetings during the second quarter of Fiscal Year 2014. These changes are presented in summary in the "Second Quarter Budget Amendments" spreadsheet and reflect changes in individual funds. Recommendation: The City Manager and the Finance Director recommended approval of Resolution 14- 2594. B. Resolution 14-2596 — Amendment No. 1 to Supplemental Agreement No. 42 with CPH Engineers, Inc. for Additional Technical Administrative and Construction EngineeringInspection Services Related to Phase 3 of the Water Quality Improvements Project & Budget Amendment #14-028 "A RESOLi.JTION OF THE CIT Y OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AU T HORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO SUPPLEMENT NO. 42 TO THE CONTINUING CONSULTING SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH CPH ENGINEERS, INC. FOR ADDITIONAL CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION/INSPECTION SERVICES RELATING TO PHASE 3 OF THE WATER QUALITY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT, THE LAKE KATHRYN LOOPING PROJECT, AND THE OXFORD ROAD PIPE BURSTING PROJECT; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." Introduction: Resolution 14-2596 approves Amendment No. 1 to Supplement No. 42 with CPH Engineers, Inc., for additional construction administration/inspection services related to Phase 3 of the Water Quality Improvements Project for an amount not to exceed $78,800, and authorizes the Mayor to execute said documents on behalf of the City. Consideration of related Budget Amendment #14-028 is also requested. Budget Impact: Budget Amendment #14-028 provides for funds from Non -departmental Water & Sewer account #401-0190-536.31-04 to cover costs associated with Amendment No. 1. BA #14-028 Explanation of Request: This Budget Amendment re -appropriates funding to cover the costs associated with Amendment No. 1 to Supplemental Agreement No. 42, with CPH Engineers, Inc., for construction engineering inspection (CEI) services related to the Casselberry Water Quality Improvements Project. This amendment, in the amount of $78,800, provides for additional CEI services resulting from Change Order No. 8 with Killebrew, Inc. which extends the duration of the project due to field changes and budget overruns and underruns. This budget amendment will re -appropriate sufficient funding in the correct capital account to support this work.
