RESOLUTION 21-3239 "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AWARDING REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL RFP -2021-0708 AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT WITH MSL, P.A. FOR ACCOUNTING AND AUDITING SERVICES; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE." WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry desires to enter into an agreement with Certified Public Accountants to perform accounting and auditing services; and WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry issued a Request for Proposal, RFP -2021-0708, and received six (6) proposals; and WHEREAS, after a competitive bid selection process, the City's Audit Selection Committee chose MSL, P.A. as the Certified Public Accountants responsible for providing accounting and auditing services to the City; and WHEREAS, the term of the agreement with MSL, P.A. will become effective on July 1, 2021 and will remain in effect for a period of three years until June 30, 2024 with the option of two one-year extensions. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby awards RFP - 2021 -0708 to, and approves the agreement with, MSL, P.A. for accounting and auditing services, and authorizes the Mayor to execute said document on behalf of the City. SECTION II. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. SECTION III. Severability. If any section or portion of a Section of this Resolution proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force, or effect of any other Section or part of this Resolution. SECTION IV. Effective Date. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 1 day of _Md q- ` A.D. 2021. ATTEST: Donna G.
