Project includes the construction of <br />pedestrian facilities on Quail Pond Circle between Triplet Lake Drive and the road terminus, as <br />well as installation of a shared use path connecting the terminus of Quail Pond Circle to North <br />Sunset Drive via City -owned property and existing right-of-way. In addition, pedestrian <br />improvements including signing and pavement markings and curb ramp construction will be <br />completed along North Sunset Drive associated with the proposed trail. <br />Additional roadway work includes approximately 430 linear feet of full -depth road reconstruction <br />for a portion of Quail Pond Circle from approximately 350 feet Northeast of Triplet Lake Drive to <br />the end of the cul-de-sac. Other additional work includes associated earthwork, landscaping, <br />hardscape, and lighting. Safety improvements include the construction of new single post signs, <br />crosswalk striping, and curb ramps reconstruction. <br />All pedestrian features are to adhere to current ADA standards. Utility coordination is required. <br />City of Casselberry shall construct the project within the limits of the existing right of way and <br />City -owned property. Quail Pond Circle is not a Federal Aid Eligible roadway, and therefore, <br />roadway specific work is not eligible for reimbursement. A breakdown of costs is described <br />below. <br />The following work is considered fully eligible for federal reimbursement: Removal of Existing <br />Concrete, Manhole Adjustments, Concrete Sidewalk & Driveways, Detectable Warnings, <br />Conduit, Pull & Splice Boxes, Signing and Pavement Markings related to sidewalk work only, <br />Lighting, Statue Relocation, and Standard Fencing. <br />Work on Quail Pond Circle that will be paid for using both local funds, for the federal aid <br />ineligible Roadway related work, and federal funds, for the federal aid eligible <br />sidewalk/multimodal improvements, includes: Mobilization, Maintenance of Traffic, Sediment <br />Barrier, Clearing & Grubbing, Embankment, Concrete Curb & Gutter, Concrete Curb, Sod, and <br />Single Post Signs. <br />The following work is considered ineligible for reimbursement under this Agreement as they are <br />only intended for improvements to the Quail Pond Circle roadway: Regular Excavation, Type B <br />Stabilization, Optional Base Group, Superpave Asphaltic Concrete, Valley Gutter, Architectural <br />Pavers, Landscape, Signing and Pavement markings associated with Quail Pond Circle <br />Roadway only, Vinyl Fencing, and Fire Hydrant adjustments. <br />The LOCAL GOVERNMENT will be responsible for providing funds for any Federal -Aid Non - <br />Participating Costs including the initial amount of $33,875.00. <br />The remainder of this page intentionally left blank. <br />
