a. All customers who do not have proof of a water leak through a repair bill, but who <br />are requesting an adjustment to water or sewer bills for unexplained or unintended <br />increased consumption, must submit an Adjustment Request Application within 30 <br />days of the date of the bill in question. The adjustment request will not be processed <br />until it is confirmed that the following month's usage has returned back to average <br />consumption. The adjustment will reduce the water or sewer bill to the lowest tiered <br />rate provided in the code for the total amount used. Sewer on a month's bill to be <br />Ad <br />justed lna�be. caped bs the CitMai�ager, or his/her designee, at 15,_000_gallons, <br />or the average consumption__for the past 12 months whichever is_ higher. Any <br />adjustment made by the City for the unexplained or unintended consumption will be <br />for one billing cycle only. The adjustment is only available one time every three <br />years and is only available for either water or sewage usage, not any other utility <br />service. <br />SECTION II. CODIFICATION. It is the intention of the City Commission of the City of <br />Casselberry, Florida, and it is hereby ordained that the provisions of this Ordinance shall become and <br />be made a part of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Casselberry, Florida; that the Sections of <br />this Ordinance may be renumbered or re -lettered to accomplish such intention; that the word, <br />"Ordinance" may be changed to "Section," "Article," or other appropriate word. <br />SECTION III. CONFLICTS. All Ordinances or Resolutions, or parts of Ordinances or <br />Resolutions in conflict with any provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of the <br />conflict. <br />SECTION IV. SEVERABILITY. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Ordinance <br />proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the <br />validity, force, or effect of any other Section or part of this Ordinance. <br />SECTION V. EFFECTIVE DATE. This Ordinance shall become effective immediately. <br />
