He called for an investigation into the matter and possible censure
if warranted by any investigation results. He stated that even amidst the tensions occurring on
a national level, it was important for the Casselberry community to come together and help
those who are struggling, and urged the City Commission in the coming year to continue to
strive to create an inclusive community which cares for one another no matter the differences,
and to work together to ensure that every item passed by the City Commission benefits the
residents who need it the most.
Commissioner Mark Busch - Seat No. 3:
Thanked all those who had come to the meeting and expressed their concerns. He stated he does not condone violence, but that this had been
the most contested election in his lifetime and emotions were high on both sides of the issue,
and for that he apologized to the residents of Casselberry. He stated that he believed everyone
who had committed a crime should be brought to justice. However, he was a Constitutional
conservative and would continue to fight for free speech, voter reform and the rule of law. He
invited any residents present who wished to talk with him about these issues after the
Commission meeting to stay and he would be happy to talk with them.
