Municipal Advisory Committee (Metroplan) Report <br />Mayor Henson reported he had attended a virtual Zoom meeting for the Municipal Advisory Committee on <br />Thursday, December 3`d and he was looking forward to participating in an orientation to learn more about <br />MetroPlan Orlando and how funding is spent, and also more about the Municipal Advisory Committee and <br />its role as a committee of MetroPlan. <br />C. Council of Local Governments in Seminole County (CALNO) Report <br />Commissioner Aramendia reported that he had attended the meeting on December 2"d which was hosted by <br />Seminole State College at its Lake Mary campus. A presentation was given on one of the College's <br />programs which identifies students who are struggling and assists in getting them the resources and help <br />they need in those areas of struggle. Each of the representatives present at the meeting gave reports on their <br />various organizations, including projects and events, and there was discussion on COVID-19 concerns and <br />how the pandemic is affecting each of the member organizations. He advised that the group had <br />unanimously voted to select him to serve as Chairman for an additional two years. <br />D. Leadership Seminole Board Report <br />Mayor Henson reported that Leadership Seminole graduation ceremonies were held last week, and the City <br />had two graduates in the class, Commissioner Busch and Public Works Management Analyst Kenna Henry. <br />Commissioner Busch advised that due to COVID-19 there were two classes that the graduates still had to <br />complete, but they had gone ahead with the ceremony. He thanked all City staff who had attended the <br />graduation in support of both Kenna and him. Mayor Henson advised he would be participating in the <br />upcoming 2021 class. <br />E. Mayors/Managers Group Report <br />Mayor Henson had no report for Mayors/Managers Group but shared information from a Zoom meeting of <br />the Tri -County League of Cities which he had attended earlier in the day. <br />9. RESOLUTIONS <br />A.
