7/29/2020 <br />ANALMS: <br />�SZS: <br />Section 2-7.21 - Townhouses <br />• Provide consistency across the City's regulations by eliminating zoning relcrenees and <br />conditional use requirements that contradict language in other sections of the ULDR. <br />• The addition of lot area requirements that «all be uniformly applied to all townhouse <br />developments. <br />• Amending the maximum number of chvelling units allowed in a tomiliouse group fronn <br />seven (7) to eight (8) to better align rhath market trends and industry standards. <br />ANAL? ,SI,S., <br />Article XX - Planned Unit Development <br />• Planned I1nit Development (PUD) zoning provides flexible zoning standards that are <br />negotiated between staff and the applicant before the final proposal is approved by the. <br />City Commission. <br />• The existing PUD regulations stipulate a cumbersome review process Math <br />requirements that are difficult to manage and are not applicable to most development <br />proposals. <br />• Therefore, stall is proposing to repeal and replace Article XX in its entirety in order <br />to comprehensively overhaul the process and pro%ride more efficient and clear rcNiew <br />procedures. <br />• The proposed changes include updates to the general regulations, new requirements <br />for all PUD proposals to submit a concept plan and an executed PUD agreement, <br />and the removal o1' sitc plan and plat review from the PUD process. <br />• Stalf has created a new PUD application and a PUD Agreement template to facilitate <br />the new process. <br />
