EXHIBIT "A" <br />Routine maintenance shall be permitted on such existing facilities. New construction other than <br />routine maintenance on an existing wireless communication facility shall comply with the <br />requirements of this Section. <br />4. All government-owned communication towers and wireless communication facilities with public <br />safety systems or equipment shall be exempt from the requirements of this Section. <br />5. These regulations are subject to state and federal law limitations. <br />C. Definitions. <br />See Section 5-21.2. and Section 68-153, Definitions City Code of Ordinances for applicable <br />definitions. <br />GD. Communication towers and communication antennas. <br />Permitted uses and conditional uses. The allowable use of communication towers as either <br />permitted uses or conditional uses in zoning districts shall be as set forth in Table 2-5.3. <br />Separation requirements. For purposes of measurement, communication tower setbacks as <br />listed in Table 2(a) and separation distances as listed in Table 2(b) shall be calculated and <br />applied to facilities located in the City of Casselberry irrespective of municipal and county <br />jurisdictional boundaries. <br />Communication tower separation shall be measured from the base of the tower to the <br />nearest property line of off-site uses (Table 2(a)) and/or designated areas as specified in <br />the table set forth in Table 2(b). <br />Table 2(a) <br />Communication Tower Separation from Off -Site Uses/Designated Areas <br />Off-site Use/Designated Area <br />Single-family residentially zoned land <br />Multi -family residentially zoned land <br />Nonresidentially zoned lands <br />Nonresidentially zoned lands with residential <br />uses <br />Minimum Separation <br />200 feet or 300% height of tower, whichever is <br />greater <br />200 feet or 300% height of tower, whichever is <br />greater <br />None, only setbacks apply <br />100 feet or 100% height of tower, whichever is <br />greater <br />b. Separation distances between communication towers shall be applicable for, and <br />measured between, the proposed towers and existing towers. The separation distances <br />shall be measured by drawing or following a straight line between the base of the existing <br />tower and the base, pursuant to a site plan, of the proposed tower.
