EXHIBIT "A" <br />defined in Section 5-21.2, Unified Land Development Regulations, or any equipment associated with a <br />tower. "Base station" includes, without limitation: <br />Equipment associated with wireless communications services such as private, broadcast, and <br />public safety services, as well as unlicensed wireless services and fixed wireless services such <br />as microwave backhaul. <br />Radio transceivers, antennas, coaxial or fiber-optic cable, regular and backup power supplies, <br />and comparable equipment, regardless of technological configuration (including distributed <br />antenna systems ("DAS") and small-cell networks). <br />Any structure other than a tower that, at the time the relevant application is filed with the City <br />under this subsection, supports or houses equipment described in subsections (1) and (2) of <br />this definition that has been reviewed and approved under the applicable zoning or siting <br />process, or under another state or local regulatory review process, even if the structure was not <br />built for the sole or primary purpose of providing that support. <br />The term does not include any structure that, at the time the relevant application is filed with the <br />city under this subsection, does not support or house equipment described in subsections (1) <br />and (2) of this definition. <br />City shall mean Casselberry, Florida. <br />City Utility Pole shall mean a utility pole owned by the City in the public rights-of-way. The term does <br />not include a utility pole owned by a municipal electric utility, a utility pole used to support municipally <br />owned or operated electric distribution facilities, or a utility pole located in the public rights-of-way within a <br />retirement community that: (a) is deed restricted as housing for older persons as defined in F.S. § <br />760.29(4)(b); (b) has more than 5,000 residents; and (c) has underground facilities for electric <br />transmission or distribution. <br />Collocate or Collocation shall mean to install, mount, maintain, modify, operate, or replace one or <br />more wireless communication facilities on, under, within, or adjacent to a wireless support structure or <br />utility pole. The term does not include the installation of a new utility pole or wireless support structure in <br />the public rights-of-way. (Fla. Stat. § 337.401(7)(b)71.. <br />Communications Facility or Facility or System shall mean any permanent or temporary plant, <br />equipment and property, including but not limited to cables, wires, conduits, ducts, fiber optics, poles, <br />antennae, converters, splice boxes, cabinets, hand holes, manholes, vaults, drains, surface location <br />markers, appurtenances, and other equipment or pathway placed or maintained or to be placed or <br />maintained in the public rights-of-way of the City and used or capable of being used to transmit, convey, <br />route, receive, distribute, provide or offer communications services. For the purposes of this article, the <br />term shall include wireless communication facility or wireless communication facilities. <br />Communications Services shall mean the definition in F.S. § 202.11 (1), as may be amended, and <br />also includes, but is not limited to wireless services, as defined herein. <br />Communications Services Provider shall mean any Person including a municipality or county <br />providing communications services through the placement or maintenance of a Communications Facility <br />in Public Rights -of -Way. "Communications Services Provider" shall also include any Person including a <br />municipality or county that places or maintains a Communications Facility in Public Rights -of -Way but <br />does not provide Communications Services. The form iRGl des Pass Thre gh PFeyiders and Wireless <br />IRfraStF 1Gt iro Dreyidero <br />Communication Tower shall mean a monopole tower, constructed as a free-standing structure or in <br />association with a building, other permanent structure or equipment, containing one or more antennas <br />intended for transmitting or receiving television. AM/FM radio, digital. microwave, cellular, tel or <br />similar forms of electronic communication including structures that are constructed for wireless <br />communications services including, but not limited to, private, broadcast, and public safety services, as <br />well as unlicensed wireless services and fixed wireless services such as microwave backhaul and the <br />associated site. The term communication tower shall not include amateur radio operators' equipment as <br />licensed by the Federal Communications Commission. <br />
