repair of the leak. The consumption period to be adjusted cannot <br />exceed two three consecutive billing cycles. Customers are eligible <br />for one increased consumption adjustment per 12 month period. <br />Additional adjustments may be considered by the City Manager, or <br />his/her designee, based on exigent circumstances. <br />b. (i) For consideration of a sewer adjustment, the consumption <br />should be close to double the average consumption for the <br />account for the past 12 months. If the water leak drains into <br />the ground and not into the sewer system, any consumption <br />over the account average may qualify for a sewer adjustment. <br />(ii) For consideration of a potable water adjustment, the potable <br />water consumption should be close to double the account <br />average for the past 12 months. <br />(iii) The adjustment will reduce the water or sewer bill to the <br />lowest tiered rate provided in the code for the total amount <br />used. <br />(iv) Sewer on a month's bill to be adjusted may be capped by the <br />City Manager, or his/her designee at 15,000 gallons or the <br />average consumption for the past 12 months whichever is <br />h <br />(v) For consideration of a potable irrigation adjustment, the <br />consumption should be close to double the account average <br />for the past 12 months. The adjustment will reduce the <br />excess usage over the account average for the past 12 months <br />to the lowest tiered rate provided in the code for potable <br />water. <br />(vi) For consideration of a reclaimed irrigation adjustment, the <br />consumption should be close to double the account average <br />for the past 12 months.
