RESOLUTION 20-3204 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE CITY COMMISSION MEETING AND AGENDA POLICIES, PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Casselberry, Florida previously adopted the policies and rules governing the conduct of meetings of the Commission, as supplemented and amended in the City Commission Meeting and Agenda Policies, and changed the commencement time of the regular meetings from 7:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on May 13, 2013 via Resolution 13-2497; and WHEREAS, the City Commission amended the Meeting and Agenda Policies on September 23, 2013 via Resolution 13-2536 to update public comment matters in accordance with Section 286.0114 Florida Statutes; and WHEREAS, the City Commission amended the Meeting and Agenda Policies on December 14, 2015 via Resolution 15-2802 to change the commencement time for regular meetings of the City Commission from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.; and WHEREAS, the City Commission desires to amend the City Commission Meeting and Agenda Policies by changing the commencement time for regular meetings of the City Commission from 5:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRRY, FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry, Florida hereby adopts the City Commission Meeting and Agenda Policies attached hereto and made a part hereof. SECTION II. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolution in conflict with any of the provisions of the Resolution are hereby repealed. SECTION III. Severability. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force, or effects of any other Section of part of this Resolution. SECTION IV. Effective Date. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption.
