RESOLUTION 20-3201 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, TO ADD AN APPLICATION FEE FOR PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT REVIEW SERVICES, TO AMEND THE APPLICATION FEE FOR DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT REVIEW SERVICES, AND TO REQUIRE AN ADVERTISING DEPOSIT WITH THE SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS WITH PUBLIC NOTICE REQUIREMENTS; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, by Section 1-2.8 of the City of Casselberry (City) Unified Land Development Regulations, the City Commission may establish fees imposed by the land development regulations by resolution; and WHEREAS, through Resolution 19-3130 the City Commission established development review fees and engineering permit and other related fees; and WHEREAS, on August 24, 2020, the City Commission adopted Ordinance 20-1536, which amended the review procedures in Article III, Development Agreements, and established new requirements and review procedures in Article XX, Planned Unit Development; and WHEREAS, the City does not have an established application fee for Planned Unit Development proposals; and WHEREAS, the application fees for Planned Unit Developments and Development Agreements should be updated within the fee schedule to accurately reflect the administrative costs associated with review of these applications and development proposals to the greatest degree possible; and WHEREAS, the costs associated with the advertising and public notice requirements of certain development review applications are initially incurred by the City; and WHEREAS, the collection of an advertising deposit, upon submission of certain development review applications, will alleviate some of the costs borne by the City, if advertising invoices are not paid by the applicant. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA: SECTION I. ESTABLISHMENT OF FEE SCHEDULE. Fees for development review by the Development Review Committee, Planning and Zoning Commission and City Commission, appeal fees, and other related fees are hereby established in accordance with the fee schedule attached as Exhibit A as authorized by Section 1-2.8 of the City's Unified Land Development Regulations.
