RESOLUTION 20-3158 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A SUBRECIPIENT AGREEMENT WITH THE SEMINOLE COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE RELATED TO THE CENTRAL FLORIDA HIGH INTENSITY DRUG TRAFFICKING AREAS PROGRAM GRANT #G20CF0008A. WHEREAS, the Seminole County Sheriffs Office has been awarded Grant #G20CF0008A for the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas (HIDTA) program for the period of performance from January 1, 2020 through December 31, 2021; and WHEREAS, the grant allows funding to subrecipients for participation in the Seminole County Sheriffs Office City/County Investigative Bureau (CCIB) in which the City of Casselberry Police Department actively participates; and WHEREAS, the Seminole County Sheriffs Office has provided a Subrecipient Agreement to the Casselberry Police Department which enables the City of Casselberry to receive funding through HIDTA Grant #G20CF0008A for the period of performance from January 1, 2020 through December 31, 2021 for participation in the CCIB; and WHEREAS, the Casselberry Police Department has determined that it is advantageous to enter into the Subrecipient Agreement with the Seminole County Sheriffs Office for the purpose of receiving funds concerning its participation in the Seminole County Sheriffs Office CCIB. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby approves the Subrecipient Agreement with the Seminole County Sheriffs Office concerning participation in the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas program, attached as Exhibit A, and authorizes the Mayor to execute said agreement on behalf of the City. SECTION II. Conflicts. All Resolutions of parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed.
