CASSCLBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of June 8, 2020 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 3 of 9 <br />Introduction: Approval of Resolution 20-3163 authorizing an Agreement with Cypress Golf <br />Management, LLC for golf course management services at the Casselberry Golf Club for five (5) years and <br />up to two (2) three-year extensions is requested. <br />Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City Budget. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works Director recommended approval of <br />Resolution 20-3163. <br />C. Resolution 20-3164 — Street Lighting Assessment Preliminary Rate Resolution <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, RELATING <br />TO THE DELIVERY AND FUNDING OF STREET LIGHTING SERVICES WITHIN THE CITY; <br />PROVIDING FOR THE IMPOSITION OF STREET LIGHTING ASSESSMENTS WITHIN THE <br />ENTIRE AREA OF THE CITY; ESTIMATING THE SERVICE COST TO PROVIDE STREET <br />LIGHTING SERVICES, FACILITIES, EQUIPMENT AND IMPROVEMENTS; ESTABLISHING <br />THE METHOD OF ASSESSING THE STREET LIGHTING SERVICE COST AGAINST REAL <br />PROPERTY THAT WILL BE SPECIALLY BENEFITED; DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER <br />TO PREPARE A PRELIMINARY STREET LIGHTING ASSESSMENT ROLL; ESTABLISHING <br />A PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER IMPOSITION OF THE PROPOSED STREET LIGHTING <br />ASSESSMENTS; DIRECTING THE PROVISION OF NOTICE IN CONNECTION <br />THEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE <br />DATE." <br />Introduction: Resolution 20-3164 provides for a Preliminary Rate Resolution for the implementation of <br />the Street Lighting Assessment for Fiscal Year (FY) 2020-21. <br />Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City Budget at this time. If approved, revenues generated by <br />the Street Lighting Assessment will be budgeted in FY 2020-21 accordingly. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works Director recommended approval of <br />Resolution 20-3164. <br />D. Purchase of Mass Meter Exchange Data Extraction from Central Square <br />Technologies <br />Introduction: The purchase of a data extraction module in the amount of $14,640 from Central Square <br />Technologies will facilitate the transfer of data for the Advanced Metering Infrastructure Project. <br />Budget Impact: Sufficient funds were budgeted in the FY20 Adopted Budget in the Utility Fund <br />Improvements Other than Building/Water Meter account #401-0135-513.63-52. <br />
