REVISED AS OF 6/24/02 <br />ATTACHMENT A <br />To Ordinance 02-1050 <br />Sec. 86-30. Waste disposal generally; connection to public sewer. <br />(e) The owner of any house, building or property used for human occupancy, <br />employment, recreation or other purposes, situated within the City, <br />abutting on any street, alley or right-of-way in which there is now located <br />or may in the future be located a public sanitary or combined sewer of the <br />City, is hereby required, at his expense, to install suitable toilet facilities <br />therein, and to connect those facilities directly with the proper public <br />sewer in accordance with the provisions of this Article, within 365 days of <br />official notice to do so, provided that the public sewer is within 100 feet of <br />the property line. This provision is subject to the specific provisions of <br />Section 86-68(d). If the property is not connected within the 365 -day <br />period, the City shall automatically levy a minimum monthly sewer charge <br />on the owner, occupant or tenant of the property. <br />(f) The minimum monthly sewer charge above is hereby known as the flow - <br />by availability charge. Following the end of the 365 -day period above, the <br />flow -by availability charge shall be equal to the minimum monthly <br />charge(s) shown in Section 86-72 for the specific user category(s) of the <br />property. In the event that the property is connected to the City sewer in <br />the future, and a flow -by availability charge has been paid by a past or the <br />current account holder, the sewer benefit fee shall be reduced by twenty <br />five percent. <br />Sec. 86-72. Schedule of Rates and Charges. <br />The rates and charges to all regular customers for sewer service shall be based <br />on the following schedule: <br />(1) Residential <br />a. Inside City Service <br />Minimum <br />Meter Size Monthly Charge <br />All meters $7.60 <br />In addition to the minimum monthly charge shown above, each residential <br />customer will be charged the rates as listed below: <br />Gallons <br />From 0 to less than 7,000 <br />7,000 and over <br />ME <br />Rate <br />$3.664 $3.00 per 1,000 gallons <br />3.6036 per 1,000 gallons <br />
