GRANT MALOY, SEMINOLE COUNTY <br />CLERK OF CIRCUIT COURT & COMPTROLLER <br />CFN# 2018135043 Bk:9256 Page:1724-1727 (413gs) <br />REC: 12/03/2018 8:05:25 AM by hdevore <br />RECORDING FEES $35.50 <br />`s <br />ORDINANCE 18-149F <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, <br />RELATING TO VOLUNTARY ANNEXATION; MAKING <br />FINDINGS; ANNEXING TO AND INCLUDING WITHIN THE <br />CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, <br />W FLORIDA, CERTAIN LANDS GENERALLY LOCATED IN <br />M SECTION 28, TOWNSHIP 21 SOUTH, RANGE 30 EAST ON <br />M � LAKE HOWELL ROAD; REDEFINING THE CORPORATE <br />E N LIMITS OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA; <br />N o PROVIDING FOR THE INTERIM PROVISION OF LAND <br />a N DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS; PROVIDING THAT <br />o 0 EFFECTIVE IN ACCORDANCE WITH LAW, THE PROPERTY <br />TO BE ANNEXED SHALL BE ASSESSED FOR PAYMENT OF <br />X <br />o MUNICIPAL AD VALOREM TAXES; PROVIDING COPIES OF <br />"- 0 <br />m THE ORDINANCE TO THE STATE OF FLORIDA AND <br />SEMINOLE COUNTY; AND PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, <br />SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, the owner of certain lands more particularly described in Schedule A, <br />attached hereto and incorporated herein, hereinafter referred to as the "Property", has requested <br />that the same be annexed and incorporated into the corporate limits of the City of Casselberry, <br />Florida, hereinafter referred to as the "City"; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Commission hereby finds that the Property is reasonably compact <br />and contiguous to the corporate areas of the City, and has determined that the annexation of the <br />Property will not result in the creation of any enclaves or pockets and otherwise fully complies <br />with the requirements of State law; and <br />WHEREAS, the City is in a position to effectively and efficiently provide municipal <br />services to the Property and the City Commission has deemed it in the best interest of the City to <br />annex the Property; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to, and in compliance with, the law, notice has been given by <br />publication once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a newspaper of general circulation <br />notifying the public of this proposed Ordinance and of a public hearing to be held at City of <br />Casselberry City Hall; and <br />WHEREAS, the provisions of this Ordinance and the actions taken herein are consistent <br />with the City's Comprehensive Plan and State law; and <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held pursuant to the requirements of State law and in <br />conformity with the published notice described above at which hearings the parties in interest and <br />all others had an opportunity to be and were, in fact, heard. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The Property described in Schedule A (Property Identification Number: 28-21- <br />30-300-0400-0000), and as shown on the map in Schedule B, both attached hereto and <br />
