Resolution 20-3147 - FY20 First Quarter Budget Amendments and Budget <br />Transfers <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, <br />FLORIDA, AMENDING THE ANNUAL OPERATING BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF <br />CASSELBERRY FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 2019 AND ENDING <br />SEPTEMBER 30,2020; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />Introduction: Resolution 20-3147 provides for formal adoption of budget amendments and budget <br />transfers approved during the first quarter of FY 2020. <br />Budget Impact: The First Quarter Budget Amendment spreadsheet details changes to the budget as a <br />result of Budget Amendments adopted by the City Commission at various meetings during the first quarter <br />of Fiscal Year 2020. The First Quarter Budget Transfer spreadsheet details changes made to the budget <br />within each department as approved by the City Manager. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Finance Director recommended approval of Resolution 20- <br />3147. <br />D. Amendment #1 to the Agreement with Midatlantic Solid Waste Consultants for <br />RFP -2018-0391 Commercial Solid Waste Consolidation Study <br />Introduction: Amendment #1 to the Agreement with Midatlantic Solid Waste Consultants (MSW) <br />provides for "Phase II" services to help the City transition to exclusive franchise(s) for commercial solid <br />waste collection (Ref. RFP -2018-0391) <br />Budget Impact: Sufficient funding is available for Amendment #1, for an amount not to exceed $40,605, <br />in the General Fund Non -Departmental Professional Services account #001-0190-519.31-00. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works Director recommended approval of <br />Amendment #1 with Midatlantic Solid Waste Consultants for an amount not to exceed $40,605. <br />E. Budget Amendment #20-023 - Recognition of Revenue for Memorial Park Benches <br />Introduction: Budget Amendment #20-023 recognizes revenue for three contributions totaling $7,500 for <br />the purchase and installation of three memorial park benches. <br />Budget Impact: Budget Amendment #20-023 will increase the Private Sources/Memorial Benches <br />account #001-0000-366.91-03 and Parks Maintenance Division Small Tools and Minor <br />Equipment/Memorial Benches account #001-0410-572.56-01 by $7,500 each. <br />BA #20-023 <br />
