11. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />The purpose of a Public Hearing is to receive input regarding the item being considered. Public Hearings are not intended to be a <br />time for the public to obtain information about the subject matter of the hearing. (Hearing Sequence: 1st Staff; 2nd <br />Applicant/Requesting Party; 3rd Public; 4th opportunity for brief rebuttals, if appropriate; Final City Commission motion, discussion and action.) <br />A. Public Hearing: Second Reading of Ordinance 20-1530 - Amending City Code of <br />Ordinances Chapter 62, Pensions and Retirement, Article 1, Police Officers' and <br />Firefighters' Pension Plan <br />Adoption of Ordinance 20-1530 amending the City Code of Ordinances Chapter 62, Pensions and Retirement, Article 1, <br />Police Officers' and Firefighters' Pension Plan, to include language regarding the Firefighter Cancer Presumption <br />recently adopted by the Florida Legislature is requested. <br />B. Public Hearing: Second Reading of Ordinance 20-1531 - Collection Bins (LPA 19-17) <br />Adoption of Ordinance 20-1531 amending the City of Casselberry Unified Land Development Regulations by adding <br />standards and definitions for Collection Bins (LPA 19-17) on second and final reading is requested. <br />C. Public Hearing: Second Reading of Ordinance 20-1532 - Amending City Code of <br />Ordinances Chapter 52, Human Resources <br />Adoption of Ordinance 20-1532 amending the City Code of Ordinances Chapter 52, Human Resources, to conduct <br />criminal history record checks for potential municipal employees, appointees, and/or private contractors for criminal <br />offenses nationwide is requested. <br />12.
