Goal #5: Increased Mobility <br />Objective 1: Complete construction of the Triplet Lake Drive Signature Street. <br />Objective 2: Begin construction of structural rehabilitation and improvements to Oxford Road (Carriage <br />Hill Circle to Kenwick Circle) and S. Triplet Lake Drive (Southcot Drive to Queen's Mirror <br />Circle.) <br />Objective 3: Seek strategies to advance construction for the transformation of Oxford Road (Kenwick <br />Circle to State Road 436) into a "complete" street providing for enhanced livability, pedestrian and <br />bicycle improvements, and traffic calming while maintaining the viability of the <br />thoroughfare for emergency services delivery. <br />Objective 4: Advance construction plans and easement negotiations for the US Highway 17-92 to North <br />Sunset Road boardwalk/sidewalk connection via Home Depot. <br />Objective 5: Complete construction of the Greenway Trail Section 3 (final section). <br />Objective 6: Continue to evolve a strategy to provide new connectivity to the Altamonte Springs <br />SunRail station and to provide transit options to areas currently lacking service; working <br />with Lynx to establish new, enhanced bus feeder service including, but not necessarily <br />limited to, FlexBus with consideration for transit -oriented development. <br />Objective 7: Complete milling/resurfacing and road rehabilitation for select roads within Areas 4 <br />through 7 as part of the Neighborhood Improvement Program. (Coordinate with <br />utility/other projects as needed for most appropriate timing and reduced conflicts). <br />Objective 8: Actively participate with the Florida Department of Transportation and Seminole County in <br />advancing the corridor planning study for State Road 436 from US 17-92 to Wilshire Drive/Boulevard <br />Goal #6: Clean, Safe and Efficient Public Utilities and Facilities <br />Objective 1: Continue minimal environmental and social impacts of ongoing utility operations. <br />Objective 2: Continue efficient fiscal management of utility operations. <br />Objective 3: Continue sustainable life cycle of utility infrastructure through proactive inspection, <br />replacement, and repair. <br />Objective 4: Place increased emphasis on replacement/rehabilitation of aging and deficient segments <br />of the City's stormwater conveyance network. <br />Objective 5: Continue implementation of necessary projects, programs, planning, multi -jurisdictional <br />coordination, and tracking efforts to effectively comply with the most recent National <br />Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System <br />(NPDES MS4) permit. <br />Objective 6: Complete design of upgrades and rehabilitation of the Water Reclamation Facility's <br />headworks. <br />Objective 7: Complete construction of the granular activated carbon (GAC) facility at the South Water <br />Treatment Plant. <br />Page 7 <br />
