RESOLUTION 19-3108 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, PROVIDING FINDINGS REGARDING THE PUBLIC PURPOSE OF FINANCING THE DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF THE SAUSALITO SHORES SUBDIVISION WALL; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Casselberry, Florida (the "City Commission") is contemplating financing the design and construction of a consistent, safe and aesthetically pleasing wall between Red Bug Lake Road and the residences adjacent thereto in the Sausalito Shores Subdivision (the "Sausalito Shores Subdivision Wall"); and WHEREAS, the City Commission desires to set forth its findings relating thereto. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Findings. The City Commission hereby finds as follows: (a) The current condition of the property along Red Bug Lake Road within the Sausalito Shores Subdivision in the City of Casselberry is dilapidated with little to no fencing or landscaping; and (b) Residents of the Sausalito Shores Subdivision came to the City several years ago for assistance in setting up a special assessment program, where the assessments are collected on the residents' tax bill pursuant to Fla. Stat. 197.3632, so that the residents of the subdivision could fund the design and construction of the Sausalito Shores Subdivision Wall; and (c) Construction of the Sausalito Shores Subdivision Wall will serve to maintain the high quality of residential neighborhoods within the City, thereby promoting economic stability, an exceptional quality of life, and community serenity and security; and 1
