RESOLUTION 19-3108 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, <br />PROVIDING FINDINGS REGARDING THE PUBLIC PURPOSE OF <br />FINANCING THE DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF THE SAUSALITO <br />SHORES SUBDIVISION WALL; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, <br />SEVERABILITY, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Casselberry, Florida (the "City <br />Commission") is contemplating financing the design and construction of a consistent, safe and <br />aesthetically pleasing wall between Red Bug Lake Road and the residences adjacent thereto in the <br />Sausalito Shores Subdivision (the "Sausalito Shores Subdivision Wall"); and <br />WHEREAS, the City Commission desires to set forth its findings relating thereto. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. Findings. The City Commission hereby finds as follows: <br />(a) The current condition of the property along Red Bug Lake Road within the <br />Sausalito Shores Subdivision in the City of Casselberry is dilapidated with little to no fencing or <br />landscaping; and <br />(b) Residents of the Sausalito Shores Subdivision came to the City several years ago <br />for assistance in setting up a special assessment program, where the assessments are collected on <br />the residents' tax bill pursuant to Fla. Stat. 197.3632, so that the residents of the subdivision could <br />fund the design and construction of the Sausalito Shores Subdivision Wall; and <br />(c) Construction of the Sausalito Shores Subdivision Wall will serve to maintain the <br />high quality of residential neighborhoods within the City, thereby promoting economic stability, <br />an exceptional quality of life, and community serenity and security; and <br />1 <br />
