RESOLUTION 19-3100 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, APPROVING AND ADOPTING AN <br />AMENDMENT TO THE FISCAL YEAR 2019-2023 CAPITAL <br />IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, <br />SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry, through its Parks, Recreation, Pathways, and Open <br />Spaces Master Plan and subsequent planning efforts, has identified the need for improvements to <br />Dew Drop Park and Sunnytown Park, as well as construction of a new park under the working <br />name "Wheel Park" (Phase 1 and Phase 2); and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry has currently dedicated $200,000.00 per year for <br />Fiscal Year 2020 through Fiscal Year 2023 in the current Fiscal Year 2019-2023 Capital <br />Improvement Program for "Various Park Improvements"; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry, in lieu of "Various Park Improvements" for Fiscal <br />Years 2020 through 2023, wishes to formally and explicitly establish match funding for potential <br />grants for park improvements in the amount of $200,000.00 per year for Fiscal Year 2020 through <br />2023 for the aforementioned specific parks. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby approves and adopts <br />the Amendment to the Fiscal Year 2019-2023 Capital Improvement Program, attached as Exhibit <br />A. <br />SECTION II. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the <br />provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. <br />SECTION III. Severability. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution <br />proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the <br />validity, force, or effect of any other Section or part of this Resolution. <br />SECTION IV.
