RESOLUTION 19-3095 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, APPROVING THE ADOPTION OF <br />UTILITY STANDARDS MANUAL, STANDARD DETAILS, AND LIST <br />OF APPROVED PRODUCTS; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, <br />SEVERABILITY AND EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, the City currently has a Utility Standards and Specifications Manual which <br />is applied to all proposed, and existing when modified, water and wastewater facilities to be <br />constructed within, owned by, operated by, dedicated to, and/or maintained by the City of <br />Casselberry; and <br />WHEREAS, these standards and specifications are adopted to establish minimum <br />acceptable standards by the City for the design and construction of water and wastewater <br />facilities; and <br />WHEREAS, the Utility Standards and Specifications Manual has not been updated in <br />over eight years; and <br />WHEREAS, on December 12, 2016, City Commission approved Supplemental <br />Agreement No. 53 with CPH, Inc. to provide professional continuing consulting services related <br />to updating the City's utility standards and details; and <br />WHEREAS, having updated standards and details will allow for the City of Casselberry <br />to ensure that any utility work performed, whether new construction or rehabilitation, is at or <br />above industry standards. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry adopts the Utility <br />Standards Manual, Standard Details, and List of Approved Products finalized in March 2019 and <br />attached as Exhibit A. <br />SECTION II. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the <br />provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. <br />SECTION III. Severability. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution <br />proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the <br />validity, force, or effect of any other Section or part of this Resolution. <br />SECTION IV. Effective Date. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br />its passage and adoption. <br />PASSED and ADOPTED this day of�AD 2019. <br />ATTEST: <br />Donna G.
