ORDINANCE 19-1508
<br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA,
<br />AMENDING THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY OFFICIAL ZONING MAP
<br />AS ESTABLISHED IN CHAPTER II, ARTICLE IV, SECTION 2-4.3,
<br />UNIFIED LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS OF THE CITY OF
<br />CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS AMENDED AND SUPPLEMENTED;
<br />AMENDING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION FROM CG
<br />(COMMERCIAL GENERAL) TO PMX-MID (PLANNED MIXED-USE:
<br />MEDIUM RISE) FOR THE APPROXIMATELY 1.88 -ACRE PARCEL
<br />LOCATED AT 2610 S. U.S. HIGHWAY 17-92, CASSELBERRY,
<br />FLORIDA, AS DESCRIBED IN SECTION I OF THIS ORDINANCE;
<br />PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND AN EFFECTIVE
<br />DATE.
<br />WHEREAS, the subject property described in Section I is within the corporate
<br />boundaries of the City of Casselberry; and
<br />WHEREAS, the subject property should have a zoning designation consistent with the
<br />Future Land Use of Major Thoroughfare Mixed -Use, and
<br />WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission/Local Planning Agency has held a
<br />public hearing with due public notice to consider this Official Zoning Map amendment; and
<br />WHEREAS, the property hereinafter described will remain Major Thoroughfare Mixed -
<br />Use on the Future Land Use Map (FLUM) of the Comprehensive Plan; and
<br />WHEREAS, the PMX-MID zoning district is consistent with the Major Thoroughfare
<br />Mixed -Use Future Land Use designation; and
<br />WHEREAS, a public hearing considering the inclusion of the subject property,
<br />hereinafter described, within the PMX-MID zoning district has been duly held in the City of
<br />Casselberry, Florida, and, at such hearing, interested parties and citizens were heard; and
<br />WHEREAS, after said public hearing, the City Commission of the City of Casselberry,
<br />Florida, determined that the zoning classification of said property shall be PMX-MID, as that
<br />district is defined in Articles IV and V of Chapter II, as amended and supplemented, of the
<br />Unified Land Development Regulations, C.`ode of Ordinances of the City= of Casselberry, Florida.
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
<br />CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
<br />SECTION L That the Official Zoning Map established in Chapter II, Article IV, Section
<br />2-4.3_ of the Unified Land Development Regulations of the Coda of'Oidinances of'lhe City of
<br />Casselbel'7T, Florida, as amended and supplemented, be, and the same is, hereby amended to
<br />designate the subject property as PMX-MID (Planned Mixed -Use: Medium Rise), for the parcel
<br />of land specifically described as follows, and shown in Attachment A:
