CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of January 28, 2019 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 2 of 12 <br />3. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />Mayor Glancy led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />4. ROLL CALL <br />The City Clerk called the roll of Elected Officials. All were present, with the exception of Commissioner <br />Meadows. Commissioner Meadows' Excuse of Absence was considered and approved as a part of the <br />Consent Agenda later in the meeting. <br />5. MINUTES <br />A. Minutes of January 14, 2019 — Regular Meeting <br />B. Minutes of January 14, 2019 — Special Meeting/Attorney-Client Session <br />MOTION: Vice Mayor Aramendia moved to approve the minutes of the January 14, 2019 <br />Regular Meeting and the January 14, 2019 Special Meeting/Attorney-Client <br />Session, as presented. Motion was seconded by Commissioner Busch. Motion <br />carried unanimously by voice vote 4-0. <br />6. PRESENTATIONS/COMMENDATIONS <br />A. Parks and Recreation Advisory Board 2018 Annual Report <br />Staff Presentation: Recreation Manager Linda Moore presented the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board <br />2018 Annual Report to the City Commission which included the following components: <br />- Vision & Mission Statement <br />- Guiding Principles <br />- Parks, Recreation, Pathways and Open Spaces Master Plan <br />- Events 2018 <br />- Arts & Culture 2018 <br />- Recreation/Programs <br />Discussion: A brief discussion ensued, during which each of the Commissioners expressed appreciation <br />for all of the activities, programs and events being provided in the City's parks, and noted that many <br />compliments and positive feedback had been received about these events and programs. In response to <br />comments from the City Commission about the event that had been held recently at Lake Hodge Park, Ms. <br />Moore advised that the next one would be held February 9t1i at Dew Drop Park and would include <br />hamburgers and hotdogs and an opportunity for residents to view the conceptual plans for the park. <br />
