RESOLUTION 19-3082 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT 535 QUEENS MIRROR CIRCLE; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the property located at 535 Queens Mirror Circle, Casselberry, Florida, being more particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, is available for purchase at a mortgage foreclosure sale; and WHEREAS, a purchase of the property would be for a proper public purpose for park land; and WHEREAS, due to the property being offered at a foreclosure sale, the Commission waives the requirement of an appraisal since the bid will most likely be below the value of the property, and it is not possible to obtain an appraisal before the time of the sale. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby authorizes the City Manager, Mr. James R. Newlon, to bid on the Property up to $250,000.00. SECTION II. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby authorizes the City Manager to pay the full amount of the bid after notification that the City is the successful bidder. SECTION III. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. SECTION IV. Severability. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force, or effect of any other Section or part of this Resolution. SECTION V. Effective Date. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. PASSED AND ADOPTED this I14-11 day of c , A.D., 2019. ATTEST: Donna G.
