RECOGNITION OF DEDICATED PUBLIC SERVICE BY <br />COMMISSIONER SANDRA T. SOLOMON <br />A. Resolution 18-3071 — Recognition of Dedicated Public Service by Commissioner <br />Sandra T. Solomon <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, <br />IN RECOGNITION OF DEDICATED PUBLIC SERVICE TO THE CITIZENS OF THE CITY OF <br />CASSELBERRY, SEMINOLE COUNTY AND THE ENTIRE CENTRAL FLORIDA COMMUNITY <br />BY COMMISSIONER SANDRA SOLOMON." <br />Each of the Commissioners, the City Manager, the City Attorney and the City Clerk expressed their <br />appreciation to former Commissioner Solomon for her service and passion for the City of Casselberry and its <br />citizens, and shared some of their recollections about working with her during her tenure on the City <br />Commission. <br />Mayor Glancy then read Resolution 18-3071 in its entirety, after which she presented the original Resolution <br />and a plaque to former Commissioner Sandra T. Solomon, formally recognizing and expressing appreciation <br />for her twelve years of dedicated service on the City Commission. <br />MOTION: Commissioner Aramendia moved to approve Resolution 18-3071, as presented. <br />Motion was seconded by Vice Mayor Meadows. Motion carried unanimously <br />by voice vote 5-0. <br />Mayor Glancy recognized Seminole County School Board Member Karen Almond and former City <br />Commissioner Colleen Hufford and thanked them for attending. <br />Former Commissioner Solomon shared some of her experiences and the City's accomplishments during her <br />years of service, also expressing some of her vision for the City and a wish -list of goals she hopes the City <br />Commission will continue to pursue for the betterment of the City of Casselberry. She expressed appreciation <br />to the City Commission and City staff for working with her through the years to accomplish good things for the <br />City. She encouraged the Commission to continue working to get what is best for the citizens of the City of <br />Casselberry. <br />6. CITIZENS' COMMENTS <br />Mayor Glancy announced persons that wished to make comment or make inquiry on any matter not on the <br />agenda, may request to be recognized during Citizens' Comments.
