SECTION IV. That Chapter III, Article XV, Section 3-15.2 of the Unified Land Development <br />Regulations of the City of Casselberry City Code shall be amended as follows: <br />24. Self -Storage Limited Access 1 space per 75 storage bays plus 1 space per <br />employee and two customer spaces plus 3 <br />parking spaces per every 1,000 square feet of <br />retail/office area. <br />25. Self -Storage Multi -Access 1 space per 200 storage bays, plus 1 space per <br />employee and two customer spaces plus 3 <br />parking spaces per every 1,000 square feet of <br />retail/office area. <br />SECTION V. That Chapter II, Article VII, Section 2-7.24 of the Unified Land Development <br />Regulations of the City of Casselberry City Code shall be added as follows: <br />Section 2-7.24. Self -Storage facilities <br />A. The following general regulations shall apply to all future Self -Storage facilities <br />including limited and multi- access facilities <br />1_ Use of bays. Bays shall not be used to manufacture, fabricate or process goods; <br />service or repair vehicles, boats, small engines or electrical equipment, or to conduct <br />similar repair activities; conduct garage sales or retail sales of any kind; or conduct <br />any other commercial or industrial activity on the site Individual storage bays or <br />private postal boxes within a self -storage facility use shall not be considered premises <br />for the purpose of assigning a legal address in order to obtain an occupational license <br />or other governmental permit or license to do business nor as a legal address for <br />residential purposes. <br />2. Storage bays. Storage bays shall be prohibited from having electrical outlets <br />3. Landscaping. Supplemental landscaping to be required in addition to the <br />landscaping requirements of the Unified Land Development Regulations shall <br />include at least one group of 2 or more tree plantings on each side of the building <br />between the building and the parking lot <br />4. Dumpster. Dumpsters shall be screened from view of adjacent lots and streets and <br />meet the Unified Land Development Requirements of Section 3-10.2.3. <br />S. SignaZe. Signs shall be limited to monument and wall siiinaize. An annroved site <br />may have one monument sign not to exceed 15 feet in height Wall signs may not <br />project above the exterior wall face. The copy area available for all signs shall be <br />limited to the sign area as described in the Unified Land Development Regulations <br />sign code Further, trucks vans, or vehicles are prohibited from parking on site in <br />such a way that the vehicles could be used as advertising or signage <br />Page 5 of 7 <br />
