All of the properties are
owned by the City of Casselberry and are currently undeveloped. The Development plans for the subject
properties have not yet been established; however, the City is requesting an amendment to the Future Land
Use Map to establish uniform designations that would allow for the potential future use of the sites as
recreational facilities, park lands, or open space preservation areas. The proposed amendment will assist
the City in achieving the goals set forth in the Parks, Recreation, Pathways and Open Spaces Master Plan
and the Comprehensive Plan. The acreage of the fourteen (14) subject parcels constitutes a large scale
Comprehensive Plan amendment which requires review by the Department of Economic Opportunity
