Application for Edward Byrne Memorial Assistance Local Grant FY 18 Introduction: Consideration to apply for Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant FY 18 Local Program funding is requested. Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City Budget at this time. A budget amendment will be prepared upon receipt of the grant funds. Recommendation: The City Manager and the Police Chief recommended approval to participate in the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Program by applying for grant funds up to $10,481. L. Donation from State Law Enforcement Trust Funds to Kids House of Seminole and Related Budget Amendment #18-046 Introduction: Consideration to donate $2,500 from the State Law Enforcement Trust Funds to Kids House of Seminole and related Budget Amendment #18-046 is requested. Budget Impact: Budget Amendment #18-046 will establish the budget for this expenditure by increasing the Aids to Private Organizations account 4104-0610-521.82-00 and the Other Non -Operating Sources account #104-006-389.90-00 by $2,500. BA # 18-046 Explanation of Request: This Budget Amendment seeks City Commission approval for the Police Department to donate $2,500 to Kids House of Seminole from State Law Enforcement Trust Fund.
