In response to the Board's question regarding the purchase price for the property across the street from the Police Station, Mr. Newlon said the cost is $2 million before development. In response to the Board's question, Mr. Newlon said that there is no action required today. He said ACi would provide a second presentation looking at the option of selling the Police Station to a private developer. He said staff would come back in the future for the CRA's recommendation for the Police Station property. In response to the Board's comment, Mr. Newlon said that sometimes the cost of renovation could cost as much as constructing a new building. He said that the police building is not situated on the site to provide the optimal use for the new purpose. A general discussion ensued regarding the event center being used as a multipurpose use and providing more information on case studies for other municipalities. Sixth Item: Other Business. There was no other business. Seventh Item of Business: Public Comments. Ms. Glancy asked for public comment. No one came forward. Eighth Item of Business: Adjournment.
