CITY OF CASSELBERRY <br />CODE ENFORCEMENT HEARING <br />FEBRUARY 8, 2018 <br />The City of Casselberry held its regular Code Enforcement hearing Thursday, February 8, 2018, at 6:30 p.m., in <br />the City of Casselberry Commission Chambers, 95 Triplet Lake Drive, Casselberry, Florida. Luis R. Guzman, <br />Special Magistrate, called the meeting to order at 6:32 p.m. <br />SPECIAL MAGISTRATE <br />Luis R. Guzman <br />CITY STAFF PRESENT <br />Mark Campbell, Code Compliance Supervisor <br />Emily Hanna, Chief Planner <br />Tim Alcuri, Senior Code Compliance Officer <br />Fred Eastwood, Code Compliance Officer <br />Brenda Jones, Recording Secretary <br />PLEDGE OF ALLIGIANCE <br />The Special Magistrate led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />FORMAT FOR PROCEEDINGS <br />The Special Magistrate read the format for proceedings. <br />SWEARING IN OF THOSE IN ATTENDANCE <br />The Special Magistrate swore in those who would testify. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />The Special Magistrate approved minutes from the January 11, 2018 hearing. <br />STATEMENT OF EVIDENCE <br />Marl-, Campbell, Code Compliance Supervisor advised that all events occurred within the corporate limits of the <br />City of Casselberry. The Officer's notes, case narratives, testimony, photographs, supporting documents and <br />PowerPoint presentation were all entered as part of the official record. <br />SUBSEQUENT CASE <br />CE -17-000752 4630 S Highwa ly 7/92 <br />• Landscaping maintenance; ULDR Section 3-13.9(B) <br />Mark Campbell, Code Compliance Supervisor advised that the property was found to be non-compliant on <br />December 14, 2017. The City requested a correction date of January 11, 2018. If no compliance by January 11, <br />2018 then a fine of $50.00 per day, should then be imposed for each day of non-compliance thereafter. The <br />property was found non-compliant on February 8, 2018, therefore the $50.00 per day fine should be imposed. <br />Emily Hanna, Chief Planner stated that she had spoken about this case at the January hearing and was to work <br />with the property owner to come up with an approved landscape plan.
