CITY OF CASSELBERRY <br />PARKS & RECREATION ADVISORY BOARD <br />The City of Casselberry Parks & Recreation Advisory Board held a regular meeting on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at <br />7:00 p.m. in the City of Casselberry Commission Chambers, 95 Triplet Lake Drive, Casselberry, Florida. <br />1. Call to Order <br />Chairman Melissa Holmes called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />2. Pledge of Allegiance <br />Chairman Melissa Holmes led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />3. Roll Call <br />Board Members Present: <br />Melissa Holmes, Chairman <br />Courtney Icenhower, Vice Chairman <br />Dana Callan <br />Katy Farmer <br />Kinsey Lallathin <br />Staff Members Present: <br />Linda Moore, Recreation Manager <br />Joanne Duncan, Recording Secretary <br />4. Approval of Minutes — March 13, 2018 <br />Member Lallathin made a motion that the minutes be approved as written and Member Farmer <br />seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously 5 - 0. <br />5. Items for Discussion: <br />2nd Annual Bike 5 -Cities Event — Ms. Moore briefly discussed this special event. The 5 cities <br />included are City of Casselberry, City of Maitland, City of Orlando, City of Winter Park and Town of <br />Eatonville. New features of this year's event to include a bike rodeo, educational activities by <br />Seminole County Sheriff's office, free helmets and giveaways by FDOT and a drawing for a kid's bike <br />giveaway. A safety demonstration for blind -spot awareness will also be provided along with <br />snacks and drinks. <br />Member Icenhower suggested that there be a Recreation booth at the event to promote events <br />within the City. She also mentioned that local bike shops can help promote the event as well. <br />
