ORDINANCE 18-1482 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, <br />AMENDING SECTION 2-4.2, FUTURE LAND USE MAP <br />DESIGNATIONS AND CORRESPONDING ZONING DISTRICTS OF <br />THE CITY CODE OF ORDINANCES, PART III, UNIFIED LAND <br />DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS (ULDRs), TO REMOVE FOOTNOTE <br />(1) AS IT RELATES TO THE MTMU FUTURE LAND USE <br />DESIGNATION; AND AMENDING SECTION 2-8.1, PURPOSE AND <br />INTENT OF THE CITY CODE OF ORDINANCES, PART III, UNIFIED <br />LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS, TO REMOVE LANGUAGE AS <br />IT RELATES TO FOOTNOTE (1); PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION, <br />CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, several years ago, the City of Casselberry amended the City's <br />comprehensive plan to create a Future Land Use (FLU) designation of Major Thoroughfare <br />Mixed Use (MTMU), which initially required properties to provide a mix of uses; and <br />WHEREAS, subsequently the City of Casselberry amended the MTMU FLU text to <br />eliminate the requirement for more than one use to avoid converting conforming uses to non- <br />conforming uses; and <br />WHEREAS, it is no longer necessary to include language in the ULDRs grandfathering <br />property zoned MTMU with only one use due to the amendments described above to the MTMU <br />FLU; and <br />WHEREAS, the City's Planning and Zoning Commission, sitting as the Land Planning <br />Agency, has reviewed this Ordinance and finds it is consistent with the comprehensive plan; and <br />WHEREAS, words with double underlined type shall constitute additions to the original <br />text and stt:i A through shall constitute deletions to the original text, and asterisks (* * *) indicate <br />that text shall remain unchanged from the language existing prior to adoption of this Ordinance. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. Table 2-4.2 Future Land Use Map Designations and Zoning Districts, of <br />Section 2-4.2, Future Land Use Map designations, of Chapter II, Article IV, Comprehensive Plan <br />Implementation, of Part III, Unified Land Development Regulations, is hereby amended to read <br />as follows: <br />Ordinance 18-1482 <br />Page 1 of 4 <br />
