SECTION III. That portion of the Future Land Use Element referenced to as FLU <br />Policy 1.9, Industrial, is amended to add the following: <br />d. The City shall provide adequate locations for adult <br />entertainment establishments within the Industrial future <br />land use designation as required by the United States and <br />Florida constitutions. <br />e. Properties designated as Industrial shall not be directly <br />visible by the traveling public from a major arterial <br />roadway. <br />f. Properties designated as Industrial shall not have frontage <br />along a major arterial roadway_ <br />g. The City may enter into joint planning greements with <br />Seminole County or a municipality or municipalities <br />which provide for the multi- j risdictional siting of adult <br />entertainment establishment uses in certain areas of <br />Seminole County, whether incorporated or <br />unincorporated. Industrial developments shall be <br />designed so the siting, height or bulk of building <br />compatible with adjacent development. <br />SECTION IV. Conflicts. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with <br />any of the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed. <br />SECTION V. Severability. If any Section or portion of a Section of this <br />Ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to <br />invalidate or impair the validity, force, or effect of any other Section or part of this <br />Ordinance. <br />SECTION VI. Effective Date. This Ordinance shall become effective until thirty- <br />one (3 1) days after the state land planning agency notifies the local government that the <br />plan amendment package is complete. If challenged within thirty (30) days after adoption, <br />this Ordinance shall not become effective until the State Planning Agency or the <br />Administrative Commission, respectively, issues a final order determining the adopted <br />amendments contained in this Ordinance are in compliance. <br />2018. <br />FIRST READING this -� day of 0 t2,,-1 ! , 2018. <br />SECOND READING AND ADOPTION this day of,�, <br />Ordinance 18-1481 <br />Page 4 of 5 <br />
