10. FIRST READING OF ORDINANCES <br />A. First Reading of Ordinance 18-1483 - Amending Article XIV of the City Code of <br />Ordinances, Tree Protection (LPA 17-09) <br />Ordinance 18-1483 provides for amending multiple sections of Article XIV, Tree Protection, of the City Code of <br />Ordinances to modify language as it relates to members of the City Tree Advisory Committee and modifying Tree Bank <br />payment language. <br />B. First Reading of Ordinance 18-1485- Amending Chapter 68 of the City Code of Ordinances, <br />Roadway and Utility Construction. <br />Ordinance 18-1485 provides for amending Chapter 68 of the City Code of Ordinances, Roadway and Utility <br />Construction, as it relates to wireless communication facilities. <br />C. First Reading of Ordinance 18-1486 - Amending Section 2-7.36 of the City Code of <br />Ordinances, Communication Tower, Communication Antenna, and Wireless <br />Communication Facility Regulations (LPA 17-11) <br />Ordinance 18-1486 provides for amending Section 2-7.36 "Communication Tower, Communication Antenna, and <br />Wireless Communication Facility Regulations" and Section 5-21.2 "Definitions and Terms" in the City Code of <br />Ordinances as it relates to Federal and State requirements for wireless communication facilities. <br />11. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />The purpose of a Public Hearing is to receive input regarding the item being considered. Public Hearings are not intended to be a <br />time for the public to obtain information about the subject matter of the hearing. (Hearing Sequence: 1st - Staff; 2nd - <br />Applicant/Requesting Party; 3rd - Public; 4th - opportunity for brief rebuttals, if appropriate; Final - City Commission motion, <br />discussion and action.) <br />A. Public Hearing: Second Reading of Ordinance 18-1481 - Amending the Future Land Use <br />Element of the Comprehensive Plan (LPA 18-06) <br />Ordinance 18-1481 provides for consideration to amend Objective 1, Policy 1.5 and Policy 1.9 within the Future Land <br />Use Element of the Comprehensive Plan (LPA 18-06). <br />B. Public Hearing: Second Reading of Ordinance 18-1482 - Amending Section 2-4.2 and <br />Section 2-8.1 of the City Code of Ordinances Relating to Major Thoroughfare Mixed Use <br />Future Land Use (LPA 17-10). <br />Ordinance 18-1482 provides for amending Sections 2-4.2 and 2-8.1 of the City Code of Ordinances removing language <br />as it relates to exemptions provided to properties that have a Future Land Use of Major Thoroughfare Mixed Use. (LPA <br />17-10) <br />12. OTHER ITEMS <br />A. Cooperative Purchase of Emergency Generators and Bypass Pumps for Lift Stations <br />Consideration for approval to purchase emergency generators from Tradewinds Power Corp. and bypass pumps from <br />Thompson Pumps for lift stations for a total amount of $1,188,950.00 utilizing the Florida Sheriff's Association <br />Cooperative Purchasing Program Contract Bid Award #FSA17-VEH15.0- Cab & Chassis Trucks & Other Fleet <br />Equipment is requested (Ref: PBA -2018-0352). <br />13. CITIZENS' COMMENTS <br />Persons who wish to make comment or make inquiry on any matter NOT ON THIS AGENDA may do so at this time. Please raise <br />your hand and when recognized by the Mayor, come forward to the microphone, give your name and address and speak briefly on <br />the matter. All comments must be directed to the Mayor or City Commission as a whole, not an individual City Commissioner, a <br />City staff member or another member of the audience. Citizens may be heard during PUBLIC HEARINGS or at any time any <br />agenda item is before the City Commission for consideration by following the same procedure described above. <br />14.
