PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />A. Second Reading of Ordinance 17-1465 — Rezoning 2905 Lakeview Drive and 6150 <br />South US Highway 17-92 (ZB 17-02) <br />The City Clerk read Ordinance 17-1465 by title as follows: <br />"AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE CITY OF <br />CASSELBERRY OFFICIAL ZONING MAP AS ESTABLISHED IN ARTICLE IV, SECTION 2-4.3, <br />UNIFIED LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, <br />FLORIDA, AS AMENDED AND SUPPLEMENTED; AMENDING THE ZONING <br />CLASSIFICATION FROM CG (COMMERCIAL GENERAL) TO PMX-MID (PLANNED MIXED- <br />USE: MEDIUM RISE) FOR THE PARCELS LOCATED IN THE VICINITY OF U.S. HIGHWAY 17- <br />92 AND STATE ROAD 436 AS DESCRIBED IN SECTION I OF THIS ORDINANCE; PROVIDING <br />FOR CODIFICATION, CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />Notice of Public Hearing: The Notice of Public Hearing relative to second reading of Ordinance 17-1465 <br />was advertised in the Orlando Sentinel on Thursday, August 17, 2017. <br />Staff Presentation: Planner Dean Fathelbab advised that the purpose of Ordinance 17-1465 was to amend the <br />City's official zoning map for properties located at 2905 Lakeview Drive and 6150 South U.S. Highway 17-92 <br />from City of Casselberry CG (Commercial General) to City of Casselberry PMX-MID (Planned Mixed -Use: <br />Medium Rise). He advised that no changes had been made to the ordinance since approved on first reading at <br />the July 24, 2017 regular City Commission meeting. <br />Public Hearing: Mayor Glancy stated this was a public hearing to hear and consider comments and questions <br />regarding Ordinance 17-1465. Mayor Glancy opened the floor for public participation. No one came forward <br />to address Ordinance 17-1465. Mayor Glancy closed the public hearing relative to Ordinance 17-1465. <br />Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City Budget. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Community Development Director recommended adoption of <br />Ordinance 17-1465 on second reading. <br />
