Second Reading of Ordinance 17-1465 — Rezoning 2905 Lakeview Drive and 6150 South US Highway 17-92 (ZB 17-02) The City Clerk read Ordinance 17-1465 by title as follows: "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY OFFICIAL ZONING MAP AS ESTABLISHED IN ARTICLE IV, SECTION 2-4.3, UNIFIED LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS AMENDED AND SUPPLEMENTED; AMENDING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION FROM CG (COMMERCIAL GENERAL) TO PMX-MID (PLANNED MIXED- USE: MEDIUM RISE) FOR THE PARCELS LOCATED IN THE VICINITY OF U.S. HIGHWAY 17- 92 AND STATE ROAD 436 AS DESCRIBED IN SECTION I OF THIS ORDINANCE; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION, CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE." Notice of Public Hearing: The Notice of Public Hearing relative to second reading of Ordinance 17-1465 was advertised in the Orlando Sentinel on Thursday, August 17, 2017. Staff Presentation: Planner Dean Fathelbab advised that the purpose of Ordinance 17-1465 was to amend the City's official zoning map for properties located at 2905 Lakeview Drive and 6150 South U.S. Highway 17-92 from City of Casselberry CG (Commercial General) to City of Casselberry PMX-MID (Planned Mixed -Use: Medium Rise). He advised that no changes had been made to the ordinance since approved on first reading at the July 24, 2017 regular City Commission meeting. Public Hearing: Mayor Glancy stated this was a public hearing to hear and consider comments and questions regarding Ordinance 17-1465. Mayor Glancy opened the floor for public participation. No one came forward to address Ordinance 17-1465. Mayor Glancy closed the public hearing relative to Ordinance 17-1465. Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City Budget. Recommendation: The City Manager and the Community Development Director recommended adoption of Ordinance 17-1465 on second reading.
