NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION I. The above recitals (whereas clauses) are hereby adopted as the legislative <br />and administrative findings of the City Commission. The City Commission finds and determines <br />that there is competent substantial evidence to support the findings and determinations made in <br />this Section. <br />SECTION II. Chapter 46 — Floods, Article I. — In General, of Part II of the Code of <br />Ordinances of the City of Casselberry, Florida is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />Article I. In General <br />Sec. 46-1. Definitions. <br />T4+e Unless otherwise expressly stated, the following words, terms and phrases, when used in <br />this Chapter, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this Section, except where the context <br />clearly indicates a different meaning. Unless specifically defined in this Section, words or phrases <br />used in this Chapter shall be interpreted so as to give them the meaning they have in common <br />usage and to give this Chapter its most reasonable application. The definitions in this Section shall <br />apply only to this Chapter. Where terms are not defined in this chapter and are defined in the <br />Florida Building Code, such terms shall have the meanings ascribed to them in that code. Where <br />terms are not defined in this chapter or the Florida Building Code, such terms shall have ordinarily <br />accepted meanings such as the context implies. <br />Any walled and Fee -fed addition whieh is eenneeted by a fire -wall or is separated by independefl-t <br />ter- loadbearing all is new ,.,,s,-,., t <br />Alteration of a watercourse. ASCE 24 is developed and published by the American Society of Civil <br />Engineers, Reston. VA. <br />
